Position Summary
Seeking dependable and detail-oriented Auto Detail Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, restoring, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards of appearance. A team player who takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions
- Wash, dry, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors.
- Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, dashboards, and consoles.
- Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, and trim.
- Apply protective coatings, dressings, and detailing products as required.
- Remove stains, odors, and debris from vehicle interiors.
- Inspect vehicles to ensure all cleaning and detailing standards have been met before delivery.
- Move, park, and organize vehicles safely within the facility.
- Maintain detailing equipment, tools, and supplies in clean working condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Report vehicle damage, maintenance concerns, or safety issues to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete assigned work within established production timelines.
- Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers and coworkers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous automotive detailing or car wash experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of vehicle cleaning techniques and detailing products.
- Ability to safely operate detailing equipment, vacuums, pressure washers, and buffers.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Commitment to workplace safety and customer satisfaction.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, and stooping.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands and arms for washing, scrubbing, polishing, and operating detailing equipment.
- Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, dust, and automotive fumes while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to maintain visual attention to detail for quality inspection.
