Position: Project Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Las Vegas Metropolitan Area

Schedule: Monday through Friday (Weekends as needed)



About the Company: Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their General Contracting firm. With years of experience in state, federal, and private project construction, the company is known for its commitment to honesty, integrity, and top safety standards. We are looking for a Project Manager who represents these values in all aspects of their work.



Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with approved procedures, materials, equipment, and quality standards set by the owner.
  • Provide documentation of construction progress, including shop drawings, manpower, schedules, delays, changes, payments, and other relevant events.
  • Serve as a liaison among owners, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve field issues during construction.
  • Keep the project schedule and budget on track; attend pre-bid conferences for all projects.
  • Manage communication with owners regarding service interruptions affecting utilities and traffic to minimize conflicts and avoid delays in construction.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with construction plans, and obtain further information from the project architect when necessary; recommend changes to documents for easier construction.
  • Maintain communication with contractors, architects, and owners to discuss modifications and effective solutions to project issues; monitor and document change orders from initiation to completion and payment.
  • Review and suggest approval of contractor payments for materials received or used and work completed during specific periods.
  • Create daily reports of project activities and other analyses outlining progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations and conclusions.
  • Coordinate and assist with final inspections; ensure the punch list is completed.
  • Review projects at the end of the warranty period for any non-compliance items.
  • Gather certified payroll reports from all subcontractors and ensure they align with daily reports.
  • Oversee the review process and submission of reports to owners.
  • Carry out other related duties as required.



Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in General Contracting Project Management along with Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering Management, Operations Management, Business Management with specialization in Construction, or related field.
  • Or 7+ years of experience in General Contracting Project Management along with Associates Degree in Construction Management, Engineering Management, Operations Management, Business Management with specialization in Construction, or related field.
  • Or 9+ years of experience in General Contracting Project Management.
  • Must have valid OSHA 30 Certification.



Required Skills:

  • The perfect candidate must be a quick learner who is ready to assume full responsibility for projects.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with construction contracts, drawings, and regulations at the federal, state, county, and city levels.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Primavera P6, Procore, Scheduling, and Expedition is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Capability to lead a construction team to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Self-motivated individual with good judgment, tact, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Experience in public works is highly preferred.
  • Must successfully pass a high-security clearance background check.
  • A clean driving record and valid driver's license are required.



Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • Salary Range: $115,000/yr - $135,000/yr
  • Retirement Benefits: 401(k) Retirement Plan
